Ashtanga Half Led |
This class is a guided practice covering the first half of the primary series of Ashtanga Yoga. The led practice begins with the opening chant, followed by the meditative repetition of Sun Salutation A & B, the standing sequence, many hip-opening and forward bending postures, and finishing poses including inversions. Ujjayi pranayama (breathing method), and attention to the bhandas (locks), and drishti (gaze) are introduced. An understanding of sun salutations are recommended for this vigorous and fun class. |
Bikram Yoga |
Bikram Yoga is a vigorous class with a set series of 26 postures "asanas" performed in a heated room designed for all levels, first time student to experienced practitioner alike. The sequence of postures works the whole body, inside and out. The heat helps warm and detoxify the body and through a balance of deep stretching and strengthening asanas which provides release of neuromuscular tensions throughout your entire system. Additionally the Bikram method stimulates the organs, glands, and nerves, moving fresh oxygenated blood to 100 percent of your body, restoring all body systems to a healthy working order. Excellent class for beginners. |
Yoga Boot Camp |

Early AM - Silent Vinyasa |
This open level class is your perfect early-morning ritual that will take you from sleepy and stiff to open and ready to meet the day . Previous experience is recommended as the class is lead by our instructor and students follow the sequence in silence while listening to various music selections. A perfect way to start your day. |
Live African Drumming Circle Yoga |
Offered once each month on Friday nights, this open level class is the perfect way to finish off your work week. Give yourself a chance to rejuvenate and energize with this 90 minute yoga class starting at 8 pm. Cultures worldwide have used group drumming to build connections of community, for healing, for ceremony and for fun. And that’s what ‘s what you’ll get community and fun. Vinyasa 1 |
Indulge in the ultimate experience at our beginning flow yoga class. This eclectic class will sooth the soul, lift the heart , and pump the pulse as you flow through various yoga moves. The pace is energetic yet comfortable as we move through flow sequences that build confident alignment in essential yoga poses. After gently awakening and warming the body, we progress to flowing sequences investigating the connection between breath, movement and the mind. The finer details of basic postures are further emphasized and presented.
Accessible to beginners and advanced students, but the focus emphasizes breathing to connect the body and mind and slower movement as a way to develop personal strength and healing. |
Vinyasa 1I |
For a more experienced students, designed to exhilarate the body and mind with emphasis on movement, balance and intention to created a dynamic, challenging program that combines strength and sweat. Previous experience is recommended for these classes. In this freestyle format we will explore more advanced arm balances, inversions and playfully combine these complex poses as we flow in this powerful class cultivating stamina, focus, and strength. This class is open to students comfortable in faster paced vinyasa sequences, and willing to explore the edges of their practice. |
Vinyasa III |
Thoroughly lushes and liquid movement from one posture to another. For students who have a consistent practice for at least one year and are comfortable with a vigorous, non stop class. May include advance postures and sequencing as a preparation for a master class. |
Power Yoga |
Power yoga uses a rigorous sequence of flowing, fast-moving poses to increase strength and build stronger arms, chest, and back. It is a series of postures linked on the backbone of the sun salutation, riding the breath to flow from one movement to the next. The postures, many of which are based on the Ashtanga Primary Series (modified and shortened) but is its own form. It may also be drawn from the heritage of Bikram's Yoga (basic yoga poses that can provide a vigorous work-out and challenge but are accessible to most students - and Iyengar (with an eye on good alignment and form and longer holdings of poses in order to maximize health benefits). |
Svaroopa |
Svaroopa Yoga is a compassionate and gentle approach to the body. Whether a novice or experienced yoga student, physically fit, or struggling with health challenges, Svaroopa Yoga offers profound changes in every lifestyle. Svaroopa Yoga can be practiced by all, it uses classical yoga asanas (poses) to create a deep opening in the muscles around the spine, helping the whole body to relax and move more freely. In each posture your body is supported by blankets and blocks which will carefully and gradually allow release of the deepest layers of tension in the body. The emphasis is on core opening, resulting in an overall feeling of well being, a reduction in muscular tension, and an openness and ease that permeates the whole body. By using precise alignments and meticulous placement of props, you experience calmness in your body and openness in your heart.

Yogalates integrates the power and precision of Pilates with the stamina and flexibility of yoga. Using continuous breathing, rhythmic movements, and complimentary concepts, Yogalaties intertwines both techniques: the result is a balanced yet strenuous workout which strengthens the whole body. |
